Not much time for Usenet

I have been wanting to respond to Rob's and Viking's posts for a few
days now but just don't seem to have many opportunities to post
lately. I have a few minutes now to let you all know what is
happening. Real life is keeping me very occupied and I expect it to
get worse as we get into the busy season for the farm. In fact, I
have so little time for Usenet that I am not going to renew my
subscription to Supernews (although I think it is an excellent news
provider and one I recommend) which has just run out. It doesn't seem
worth paying for something I am using so little. I can use Google
when I get a chance to check on newsgroups.

As far as smm is concerned, this means I won't be able to help with
the current problem of looking for new moderators. However, I am
pretty much out of ideas about this, so it probably won't make much
difference if I am not around much. I still think that it was a good
idea to create this newsgroup and hope for its success.

I have been interrupted several times as I've written this post, so it
looks like this isn't a good time to write either. I guess I won't be
answering Rob or Viking today either.

Goodness, and here I've been waiting two weeks for your reply! Not
renew supernews? That's serious!
